JULY AND AUGUST SUMMER MEDITATION PROGRAM

THEME: CREATING YOUR REALITY

 

For July and August, the program for meditations will be different than usual, in that it offers an opportunity for a “virtual” retreat on the theme of Creating Your Reality.  The meditations and contemplations can be done in whichever order you wish. Select the meditation or contemplation that you are drawn to at any given time; repeat any of them as often as you like.  You are encouraged to try all of them since together they are designed to provide a cohesive framework for cultivating your spiritual growth.

The secret to creating the life you want is mastering the thoughts, attitudes and beliefs that you hold.  The life you lead, in terms of events and relationships, is the product of your thoughts, attitudes and beliefs.  Essentially then, your life is a reflection of your thoughts and feelings.  Change your thinking and you change your reality!

Reflections on Creating Your Reality

Always focus on the positive without dwelling on the violence or manifestations of that which would be considered evil.  For the power of collective thoughts is a strong magnifier of the reality we create.  When you celebrate the moments where kindness, trust, and compassion occur and when you put forth intentions for the same in regard to the personal, global and environmental, then do you add to the chosen reality!  See it as done in relation to all that is desired in this existence.  The miraculous is the result of clear thinking and certitude regarding intentions.  When intentions are framed as that which is for the highest and best good, the abundance of shifts and growth opportunities in your life will be as a domino effect.  Be open and confident in the power of joining your intentions to those of others seeking highest and best outcomes for global harmony.  As you seek, so shall you find.  The more you inhabit your true path, the more you will find each moment of existence to be intoxicatingly fragrant!

Self-Talk Matters -The Practice of Affirmations

Your thoughts, attitudes, and beliefs are powerful tools that can bring you closer to or take you farther away from the life you want to experience.  For instance, if you believe that spiritual growth comes from struggle, you will create crises by which to grow.  Affirmations are an easy way to draw into your life the qualities and life experiences you want.  It’s all about imaging you’ve created it already and have it now!  Let your imagination loose, day dream, feel uplifted by the sense of achievement in the manifestation of the desired. When you repeat affirmations, it is important that you use the present tense, e.g., instead of saying, “I will find inner-peace”, “I will be less impatient”, say, “I am now in a state of inner peace”, “I am now a patient person”.  Stating your intentions as if you have them already reprograms your subconscious to accept that which you seek as your present reality.  As it does, it will create changes in your life to match this new inner reality.  During the meditation, picture that which you seek - it can be anything at all - and describe to yourself how you feel having it now and how it is changing your life.  Allow yourself to feel uplifted, excited, and celebrate the presence of what you want to create as if you have it now!

Observing the Self as a Springboard to Growth – A Contemplation

Cultivating your spiritual growth involves being open to seeing your experiences as teaching moments and embracing the journey of evolving through the learning.  This means avoiding the urge you may sometimes have to blame outside circumstances for the way you feel or to make excuses for putting your spiritual growth on-hold.  Instead, look within and ask yourself what pattern or belief you are being shown about yourself.  Give yourself the gift of growth by asking your Higher-Self for guidance about how you can release this pattern.

Mindfulness Throughout the Day

Being fully present to whatever you are doing helps you get the most from the experience.  No experience is too mundane: whether you are gardening, ironing, raking leaves, painting a room, or at work, take in everything around you and within you – the sensations, sounds, feelings, and thoughts that spring from whatever you are doing.  Practice being totally in the moment, focusing all your attention on what you are doing.  Observe your thoughts and change them into even more positive ones, more uplifting ones, through affirmations.

Cellular Clearing - A Guided Meditation

Everything that happens to you is stored within you as an emotional memory on a cellular level. The purpose of this meditation is to help you achieve your highest potential by releasing any emotional baggage by letting go, on a cellular level, of emotions which no longer serve your path and purpose and if anything, may be holding you back.

During the meditation, send love through your heart to all your cells.  Surround your cells with Light.  Tell your cells that you want to reach your highest potential in this existence.  Ask your cells to release emotions and stored memories of experiences on a cellular level that may be working against you and affecting your ability to create the life you seek – you don’t need to know what those specific emotions or experiences are, simply ask for them to be released.  Having released unwanted cellular memory, end the meditation by picturing yourself as more confident and freed from the burden of that which was holding you back.  Picture yourself as ready to embrace the opportunities that will present in your life, leading you to achieve your highest potential!
